Clever Design, Impressive Clean — With One Small Caveat
The BISSELL PowerClean FurFinder is a cordless stick vacuum with a 200W motor, a tangle-free brush roll, FurFinder headlights, HEPA filter, and a 2000 mAh removable battery rated at 40 minutes. It comes with the main vacuum body, a floor head, a crevice tool, and a small brush attachment.
Assembly could not have been easier — everything simply clips together and it is immediately obvious how each part connects. No need to touch the instructions.
It gives you three ways to use it: as a full-length upright on the floor, as a handheld unit, or with the crevice tool for tight spaces. The interchangeable attachments switch over easily and the whole thing converts quickly depending on what I need. One feature I genuinely like is that it switches itself off automatically the moment you stand it upright — a small but very satisfying detail. It also free-stands on its own, which means no hunting for somewhere to prop it.
The FurFinder headlights are a real bonus. They illuminate exactly what you are picking up and I found them genuinely useful, not just a gimmick.
Cleaning performance has impressed me. It picks up well and I have no complaints there.
My one reservation is the weight distribution. The vacuum itself is not heavy overall, but the battery sits at the top of the unit, and after a while that upper weight does make itself felt — particularly when tired.
Battery life is the other limitation. It does not last as long as I would like, so I have fallen into the habit of topping it up immediately after each use rather than waiting until the next time.
Overall though, a genuinely capable vacuum that performs well and is a pleasure to use.
